Welcome to the 2026 ACCI Conference!
Welcome to Long Beach, California, and to the 2026 American Council on Consumer Interests (ACCI) Conference. We are delighted to gather with scholars, professionals, and students from across the United States and around the world whose work intersects in advancing consumer well-being.
This year’s program highlights the breadth and depth of research on consumer interests, featuring insights from more than 90 oral presentations and over 30 poster presentations. These sessions showcase innovative research and practical perspectives that address the evolving challenges and opportunities facing consumers today.
The conference also provides meaningful opportunities to connect, collaborate, and build lasting professional relationships with colleagues across disciplines who share a commitment to improving consumer outcomes.
We are especially honored to feature two distinguished keynote speakers. Dr. Annamaria Lusardi, our Colston Warne Lecturer, will present “The Importance of Financial Literacy: Evidence from 100 Years of Data.” Our Rhoda H. Karpatkin Lecturer, Dr. Jinkook Lee, will share insights in “Population Aging and Brain Health: Global Perspectives, Interdisciplinary Approaches.” Their work highlights the vital role of research in informing policy and practice that support consumer well-being.
Thank you for being part of this vibrant community. We hope you enjoy the engaging sessions, thoughtful discussions, and the beautiful setting of Long Beach.
